Octet offers up to 60 days of interest-free credit, with up to 120 days to repay in full. So managed properly, your Octet Business Transaction Facility can save your business money. If you repay within 60 days, the service fees for a transaction using the Octet Direct Payment Facility or Octet Arranged LC are capped at 2.95% of the value of your purchase order. Compared to the cost of establishing LCs with banks - plus the cost of your time and potential opportunities lost - you could be well ahead.
