Clive is an associate of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants in Australia, a fellow of CPA Australia and a graduate of
accounting. He has many years of experience in the accounting profession
and was a partner of a major international accounting firm. In 1988
Clive Isenberg founded Scottish Pacific Business Finance. Under his
direction, Scottish Pacific went on to become Australia and New
Zealand's largest and most successful cash flow financier with a
reputation of being the region's only truly specialist SME financier. He
also spent many years as a Director of Bank of Scotland's investments
in Australia.
In 1994 Clive founded the Institute of Factors
and Discounters of Australia and New Zealand and was its inaugural
Chairman. Two years later he was elected Chairman of the world Factoring
and Invoice Discounting body, Factors Chain International.
In 2000 Clive sold the Scottish Pacific
Business Finance group to Australia's fifth largest bank, St. George
Bank. He became General Manager of St. George Banks' newly created
Business Customers division, which he successfully ran for four years
until his retirement from the Bank in September 2004. Clive is also a
director of the listed National Hire/Caterpillar company and Chairman of
Oxford Asia Pacific Investments, a private equity investment group.
